Bahati tells businesses to drive Uganda’s next jobs

Trade Minister David Bahati has challenged Uganda’s business community to put innovation, quality and customer satisfaction first, as the private sector is asked to carry more of the job-creation load. In Kabale that is the language of the shop, the lodge and the cross-border trader, not a Kampala seminar. If the policy talk is going to mean anything here, it has to show up as credit, power and a road that keeps stock moving.
